Streaming to Your Campus

Kino Lorber EDU offers several ways to stream our titles, including:

Video On Demand subscription – Let us stream from our servers to your institution for only $200 per academic year. This license includes unlimited single-campus viewing for personal, classroom, even public performance use (audiences must be nonpaying and fewer than 100 in number) with no bandwidth charge. Kino Lorber EDU service provides a durable link and password, which can be embedded in your class management or library media management software. Your subscription can be expanded at any time to include longer terms or add new titles. Volume discounts apply as the number of titles in your subscription increases – visit our streaming site for more information.

DSL licensing – this life-of-the-file license is for media streams hosted by your institution. The price includes a DVD, shipping, and – if you wish – an encoded video file. Our standard specs are available upon request, but we also provide other formats at no additional charge. A special package price includes public performance rights as well.

*EXPLANATION OF RIGHTS OFFERED:

FACE-TO-FACE CLASSROOM RIGHTS allow classroom use that excludes public screenings or online distance-learning via the Internet.

PUBLIC PERFORMANCE RIGHTS (PPR) allow educational and non profit groups to exhibit our films to groups of 100 or fewer individuals where admission is not charged. The term of the public performance license is for the life of the DVD. However, if you intend to charge admission, expect an audience over 100, or to use paid public advertising to promote the screening, then we ask that you contact us regarding an exhibition fee. Films purchased without Public Performance Rights are restricted for individual viewing or face-to-face teaching in the classroom only.

DIGITAL SITE LICENSE (DSL) allows colleges, universities or libraries to encode, locally host and stream to their community on a closed system for the life of the digital file.
